Yesterday’s Betting Recap: Alcaraz Cashes, Woo Dominates, Judge Goes Yard

Yesterday’s card had a little bit of everything—tough breaks in tennis, but MLB delivered big and saved the day.

Tennis (US Open)

We went after a little value on João Fonseca to steal a set (or even grab the first set), but that ticket never had much life. Sometimes the gamble on a live dog pays, this time it didn’t.

On the flip side, the chalk came through. Carlos Alcaraz handled business in straight sets, just like we expected. That was the minus-odds anchor, and it never felt in doubt.

The parlay, though, was a heartbreaker. We had Alcaraz as the safe leg (hit), paired with Fonseca to grab a set as the plus-money kicker (miss). Right idea, wrong result.

MLB

Baseball was where the real money got made. Bryan Woo’s strikeout prop was lined at 5.5, and he blew past it. That was one of the sharper plays of the day and cashed easily.

Aaron Judge at plus money to hit a homer was the call—and he delivered. Any time you can cash a dinger prop, it feels like a bonus, but Judge made it look routine.

And then came the parlay. Woo over Ks, Judge HR, and Yankees ML. Every leg cashed, and that ticket paid out beautifully. That’s the kind of sweat-free win that makes the grind worth it.

Final Take

Tennis props stung a bit, but the MLB board more than covered the damage. The Woo/Judge/Yankees parlay was the highlight—solid plus-money value that hit clean. Exactly the kind of result we chase.
