🏈 Yesterday’s Bets: The Highs, The Lows, and the Boise State Heartbreak

Man… yesterday was a rollercoaster. Let’s talk about it.

Corey Kiner (Cincinnati) — Rushing Yards UNDER (✅ Winner)

Cash it! Never in doubt. Kiner wasn’t sniffing that number, and we bagged it early. That’s how you want to start a slate—stress-free money.

Maddux Madsen (Boise State) — Over 1.5 Passing TDs (❌ Loser)

This one? Pain. We were one touchdown away, ONE. The guy moves the ball, gets us in position, then suddenly Boise forgets how to finish drives. Red zone trips that go nowhere… that’s how you end up ripping your ticket in half. Brutal.

Parlay: Boise State Moneyline (❌ Dead on Arrival)

And this is where my night died. Boise was supposed to be the “safe” leg. Instead, they come out and flop. Nothing kills a parlay like the “easy” piece blowing up in your face. Classic.

Byrum Brown (USF) — Over 25 Rushing Yards (✅ Winner)

Thank you, Byrum Brown. Man runs like he’s on a mission and made this look easy. At least someone showed up.

The Final Score: 2–2.

Props carried the load, Boise State torched the card. Not a total disaster, but definitely left money on the table. Shake it off, reload, and get ready to smack the next slate.

Takeaways for Next Time

  • Props > Parlays: The props are keeping us afloat, while parlays keep sinking the ship. Might be time to scale back on those “safe” moneyline anchors.
  • Quarterback rushing overs? Gold. Byrum Brown proved again that dual-threat QBs are always worth a look.
  • Don’t trust the “lock.” Boise State was supposed to be the easy call. Turns out, the “locks” are the ones that kill you most often.

We live, we learn, and we bet again.
